With 15th stolen base, Bae is ‘tied for second’ in National League stolen bases…Pittsburgh falls to 0-5

Pittsburgh Pirates’ Bae Ji-hwan showed off his speed and stole his 15th base of the season.

Bae went 1-for-1 with a walk and a stolen base in the seventh spot in the lineup against the Seattle Mariners at T-Mobile Park in Seattle, Washington, on Monday (April 28).

It wasn’t a bad start. In his first at-bat 스포츠토토 with the bases loaded in the second inning, he led off with a walk and promptly stole second base. He then took advantage of a throwing error by the Seattle catcher to steal third base. However, he was stranded at third base.

Bae then grounded out to second base in his second at-bat of the fifth inning. After a fielding error in the bottom of the sixth, he was pinch-hit for in the top of the seventh to end the game. He is batting .269 on the season.

Pittsburgh failed to attack the Seattle mound, falling to 0-5. They were blanked for nine innings with just two hits.
