‘This year is different’… Lotte giant corps starts quenching in Guam on the 1st

On the afternoon of the 27th, the Lotte club announced a list of coaches and players to participate in the spring camp for the 2023 season. 13 coaches including head coach Larry Sutton and 47 players will participate in this spring camp. After returning to Busan on the 19th, Lotte will move from Incheon International Airport to Ishigaki Island via Okinawa, Japan on the 20th the next day. The team will train until the 26th at the Ishigaki Baseball Field, a field training ground for Chiba Lotte of the Japanese Professional Baseball (NPB), and will play an exchange match against the Chiba Lotte 2nd Army on the 22nd and 24th.

The 3rd camp will be held on the main island of Okinawa, Japan. The Lotte players and coaches plan to enhance their sense of actual combat through six practice games with KBO League teams at Gushikawa Baseball Stadium until March 7th.

Meanwhile, 24 members of the pitching team and some fielding teams depart early for the first camp site, Guam, an American territory, and are conducting self-training.
