The Korea Professional Football Federation announced on the 27th that it has appointed Ulsan Hyundai coach Hong Myung-bo and Daegu FC coach Choi Won-kwon as the coach of the team’s K-League, which will play Atletico Madrid in the first round of the Coupang Play Series at Seoul World Cup Stadium.

Coach Hong led Ulsan to the league title for the first time in 17 years last season and is still in the top spot this season. Coach Choi saved Daegu from relegation as an acting coach last season and is leading Daegu by being promoted to an official coach this season. In addition, Ulsan coach Yang Ji-won and Ulsan coach Seigo will participate in the GK coach.

The federation also released a list of 44 candidates for the “Fan Eleven” of the Team K League, which will begin on the 5th.

With stars representing the K League, including Cho Kyu-sung (Jeonbuk), Lee Seung-woo (Suwon FC), Cho Hyun-woo (Ulsan), and Cesinha (Daegu), new players such as Ko Young-joon (Pohang), Lee Tae-seok (Seoul), and Bae Joon-ho (Daejeon) were also listed.

The team’s K-League team will select a total of 22 players, including 11 “Fan Eleven” and 11 “Pick Eleven.”

Meanwhile, Coupang Play will sell open training tickets for the Team K League, Atletico Madrid, and Manchester City at the Seoul World Cup Stadium a day before the first and second games of the Coupang Play series. Open training tickets can be purchased from 1 p.m. on the 6th, and like reservations for the first and second games, only Coupang Wow members can purchase them through the Coupang Play application.
