‘Goodbye’ Guindoan to Barcelona…’three-year deal until 2026′

Ilkay Gundogan (32-Manchester City) is moving to Barcelona.

“Barcelona are planning to announce the signing of Guendouane after the Champions League final,” Britain’s Daily Mail reported on Monday (Sept. 9), citing Spain’s Mundo Deportivo.

“The Man City captain is expected to join Barcelona next week. City are keen to keep hold of Guendouane, but the player is expected to move to Barcelona on a three-year contract, the most attractive option.”

German midfielder Guendouane joined City from Dortmund in the summer of 2016 for a fee of €27 million. Since then, he has been a consistent performer and a licorice in City’s golden era.

Guendouan last signed a new contract in August 2019, which expires on June 30.
