South Korean figure women’s singles sensation Shin Jia has teamed up with David Wilson, best known for choreographing Kim Yeon-ah, to prepare for her next season.
Her management company, All That Sports,먹튀검증 announced today (July 27) that “Shin Ji-A has completed her program for the new season with choreographer Wilson.” This is the first time Shin Jia has worked with an overseas choreographer on a program.
She chose the waltz “Fascination” for her short program and “Not about angels” by British singer Buddy for her free skate.
The short program Fascination is a waltz-style dance composed in 1904 by Italian composer Fermo Dante Marchetti. It is best known as the theme song to the movie The Lovers of Hao, starring Audrey Hepburn.
The freeskating music “Not About Angels” is an interlude in “Goodbye, Hazel. “It’s a sad movie score, but I see hope in it rather than sadness,” says Shinjia, explaining that her favorite part of the song is the double axel jump landing and the point movements that synchronize perfectly with the music.
As she prepares for the new season in Japan, Shinjia will compete at the International Ice Skating Federation Junior Grand Prix Selection Trials at Taereung Ice Center next month on February 22-23.
