‘2023 Chungju Apple Cup National Youth Soccer Festival’ successfully concluded

The 2023 Chungju Apple Cup National Youth Soccer Club Festival, held at the Chungju Youth Soccer Field in Chungju, Chungcheongbuk-do, Korea, on the 27th and 28th of the Buddha’s birthday weekend, concluded in style. With 85 teams from across the country participating in the festival, it was one of the largest soccer club festivals in the country and was a great success.

On the second day of the festival, on the 28th, matches were held for the senior divisions (4th grade, U-12, and moms). Although it rained from the morning, it did not stop the enthusiasm of the players who participated, and the mothers’ matches were also quite competitive, and the soccer festival was full of smiles as they enjoyed themselves.

During the festival, the Chungju Volunteer Center prepared various experience programs such as parking service, balloon art, POP handwriting, socks, and woodworking. Not only the players, but also their siblings and families who participated in the festival were able to experience a variety of activities to achieve the goal of a happy festival.

In order to build and develop youth soccer infrastructure, Chungju City and the Chungju City Football Association organized the ‘2023 Chungju Apple Cup National Youth Soccer Festival’ in order to stand out as a host for various types of soccer competitions and festivals.

The festival will be organized and hosted by SH Sports Agency (CEO Moon Sung-hwan), a total sports marketing company whose slogan is 먹튀검증 “Everyone’s right to a soccer ball,” and sponsored by Chungju City, Chungju Football Association, Gangwon FC, Footballist, Pocheon Ginseng Farming Association, HIGHSOL, Ha Ha Mask, Gopchang Sanghoe, AIRDOME_SH, Minds Ground, Guanju Food, KBS Sports Arts and Sciences Institute, Sun Medical Center, Arcobaleno Wonju, Ilhwa, and Today’s Resort.

The festival was held in addition to the existing Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade, and U-12 divisions, with a mom division. In addition to soccer, promotional marketing was also prepared to develop and promote tourism products such as various attractions, food, and things to do in the Chungju area in connection with ‘sports and cultural tourism’ and contribute to the revitalization of the local economy. In addition, the ‘Chungju DIVE Festival’, which was renamed the existing Chungju Lake Festival, will be held at the Chungju Tangeum Lake International Stadium and Jungangtop Park from the 15th to the 18th of next month, reflecting citizen and expert opinions, and will serve as a good example of the prelude to sports and cultural tourism.

The competition format is 7-on-7 for elementary school students and 5-on-5 for kindergarten students and moms. On the 27th, kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades played, and on the 28th, 4th grade, U-12 (5th and 6th grades combined), and moms played. Games are 12 minutes in length. The awards were divided into championship, runner-up, joint third place, fair play team, best coach, best coach, best player, and best player, and the winner (300,000 won), runner-up (200,000 won), and joint third place (100,000 won) were awarded Chungju regional gift certificates as a way to revitalize the local economy.
